Divya Darshan Tickets are issued to the devotees who reach Tirumala either by Alipiri Metlu or Srivari Metlu path. TTD has provided many facilities to the pilgrims who are visiting the temple of Lord Venkateswara by trekking Alipiri or Srivari Mettu foot path routes. Free bus facility from Railway Station to Alipiri or Srivari Mettu to transport the pilgrims who desire to trek the respective foot path routes as per their choice. A free luggage counter has been arranged at Alipiri where in pilgrims can deposit their luggage and get the receipt. After reaching Tirumala they can collect their baggage. In Tirumala free accommodation is available for them in PACs (Pilgrim Amenities Complex), free tonsuring, free Darshan and free meals are also available at Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasada Bhavan or at PAC II.

Previously 20000 thickets are issued by TTD for divya darshan every day, but from July 2017 the Divya darshan has been confined to only 4 days and those are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

As for now, at Alipiri footpath, 14,000 tickets will be issued on first-cum-first-served basis using biometric system. Similarly, 6,000 tickets will be issued at Srivari Metlu in Srinivasa Mangapuram. Pilgrims have to produce Aadhaar card as proof of identity as in the case of seeking any other darshan.

Eligibility for online application to Divyadarsanam Scheme:

Any family Below Poverty line and having a white ration card are eligible for Divya darshan. Offline application is available to download from divyadarsanam.in website.

Maximum 5 persons are allowed from each family per one application. They should be ready to go when the tour commenced. Travelling will be in APSRTC provided Express Class Buses.

All you need to know about Divya Darshan

  • Ticket Cost: Free One Ticket per person.
  • Opening Timings: 00:00 am – 11:59 pm at Alipiri Mettu and 6:00 am – 5:30 am at srivari mettu
  • Children under 12 years don’t need tickets.
  • The Ticket will not have the Darshan slot. Darshan slot will be allotted at the final checkpoint which is near to Tirumala.
  • Tickets are limited on any day. Next day slot starts at opening hours.
  • Any Valid Photo ID proof (Government issued document) is mandatory to avail Darshan tickets. Tickets are issued on all days. The counter might be closed on Special days such as Garuda Vahana Seva during Brahmotsavam, New year, Vaikunta Ekadasi, Vaikunta Dwadasi, Rathasapthami and other Major festival days.
  • Biometric system to issue Darshan Tickets.
  • Tickets are non-transferrable and can’t be postponed.
  • When the crowd is minimal, the devotees can have early Darshan. It is not mandatory to stick to the allotted Darshan slots.
  • At the entrance of the steps path, the Security checkpoint is available. Body scanning and material scanning will be done here.

Divyadarsanam Free Tirumala Darshan Online Application Procedure:

  • Applying Offline: If applying offline, People can submit their filled applications directly in the collection box which is provided for the same purpose at their Mandal MRO office.
  • Applying online:
  • Visit the official website of AP divyadarshanam @ https://tms.ap.gov.in/User/os/darsan
  • Enter your Mobile number in the given field.
  • Click on send OTP, now you will receive an OTP to your mobile, enter the OTP and click on “Register” button.
  • Now you will be redirected to the online application page
  • Fill the application form with details like applicant name, Email ID, Aadhar number, family details and upload a passport sized photo etc
  • Click on the submit button.
  • In case if you are already a registered person, just log in with your account details, and fill the application form then submit it.
  • The picking of pilgrims is purely on random selection. Based on the Bus route availability each group is taken to separate destinations. Tirumala is majorly preferred of all the tour routes.

The selected people will be notified by an SMS concerning the same to the registered mobile number.
